Since 2013, the CIES Football Observatory has developed a powerful econometric approach to assess the transfer value of professional footballers on a scientific basis (see this paper in the peer review journal Economies and this Monthly Report). This tool presents price ranges for all of big-5 league players with a sufficient experience level. The right price estimates are available on a consultancy basis.
